Optical Trough Sensor

For Stern Flight 2000 and Nine Ball

This optical trough sensor board replaces the dual microswitches and bracket found under the trough of Flight 2000 and Nine Ball.
Reflective sensors operate more reliably than the original microswitches, and eliminate the possibility of a draining ball slipping past the switch wire and failing to register.

Installation is a direct connection of current switch wires to terminals. Power is supplied via nearest GI lamp circuit (soldering required).

A must-have item for tournament play!

Trough Board Features

Adjustable Sensitivity / Switch Indicator LED
Sensitivity can be adjusted individually for each sensor with two single-turn potentiometers.
Orange LEDs indicate when switch is closed.

Reflective Sensors
Unlike many other opto-sensors used in pinball, these reflective sensors only require installation on one side and do not depend on a ball interrupting the beam path.

Dual Reed Relays
Reed relays are sealed switches which generally have a long lifetime. They electically isolate the sensor electronics from the switch matrix.
